The elastic choice is important to match the size of fish your after, as if their is too much resistance the fish will reject the bait.  So when I fished Todber Manor, 2.1 bi core was much better.  However, if I drew a peg with more carp then 2.6mm would be better.  Also don’t mess around with light lines, this is a postive method.

Ensure the cable tie isn’t force down on the pole, otherwise you will damage you top kit, so take you time.
